03 / Private AI & workspaces

Confidential work on hardware you control.

What you receive

A model workspace matched to your hardware, access settings, documented data routes and tested workflows.

Scope preview of Private AI and workspaces

Search confidential documents and prepare cited drafts on your workstation or private server. Define access, document sources and answer-quality checks for the agreed task. Provider-backed Claude Code and Codex configurations use connected model services; a fully offline model workspace is a separate configuration.

Private AI · Unrestricted models

Unrestricted models. Local. Yours.

Answers from your documents. Sources you can check.

Search approved documents and open the passage behind each answer. Documents and model processing stay inside the boundary you agree; a fully offline setup is tested with the connection off.

Agree the approved sources, authorised users, output formats and acceptance checks before implementation. Reduced refusals do not establish accuracy; source review remains part of the work.

Open models run on your workstation or private server. The refusal layer is a model’s learned refusal behaviour. Locus is the on-site GPU rental partner: it provides the leased infrastructure.

Unrestricted model options

Open-model variants with reduced refusal behaviour can be evaluated for the agreed task. Model choice follows the required output, operating boundary and representative checks.

Layer 01 / 05

Your documents

Organise the documents and references agreed for your workspace.

Access boundaries: check which users can retrieve each approved source.

Layer 02 / 05

Retrieval

Scope source-linked answers and comparisons across the selected material.

Source traceability: check that cited passages support the answer.

Layer 03 / 05

Model

Qwen3.8-27B Abliterated / GLM-5.3-Flash Uncensored

Choose a model after the task is clear. Compare answer quality, response time, hardware requirements, licence terms and operating cost on representative work.

Layer 04 / 05

Compute

A private model environment without buying the GPUs upfront. Locus provides the leased infrastructure; Adel Labs builds the working system around your research and team.

Fully offline operation needs the entire workflow to run locally.

Layer 05 / 05

Outputs & controls

Define the document formats, source trail and export route at handover.

Unsupported answers: check how the workspace handles missing or conflicting evidence.

Founder-led delivery

Work directly with Imad A. Adel.

Senior Petroleum Research Engineer · Digital Product Consultant

Through Adel Labs, Imad A. Adel applies his research and engineering experience to digital products, private research workspaces and interactive engineering tools. He works on surfactant enhanced oil recovery in carbonate reservoirs through a research programme in Abu Dhabi. His research experience spans proposal development, experimental design, laboratory investigation, numerical modelling and publication.

Project delivery

A result you can review at each stage.

Scope, fee and schedule depend on your content, integrations, data handling and acceptance checks.

  1. 01 / Scope

    Define the scope.

Users, content, constraints and acceptance checks. A defined brief and delivery scope.

  2. 02 / Design

    Review the prototype.

Review the structure with representative content. A working prototype you can assess.

  3. 03 / Build

    Validate the workflows.

Check behaviour, boundaries and outputs. The agreed build and recorded checks.

  4. 04 / Handover

    Complete the handover.

Review normal operation and responsibilities. Agreed source files, configuration, operating notes and a walkthrough.

Maintenance, updates and further development are scoped separately. Responsibilities are agreed before handover.

Before we begin

Before your project begins.

Is Adel Labs a fit for my project?

Adel Labs works with individuals, small businesses, engineering teams and research programmes seeking a defined piece of work and direct collaboration with the person building it. Start with the users, task and constraints. Scope, deliverables and acceptance checks are agreed before work begins.

How are the fee and schedule agreed?

You receive a proposal covering deliverables, fee, schedule and review points before work begins. If a technical question needs testing first, we can scope a prototype before committing to the full build.

What should we budget?

The proposal states the agreed scope, inclusions, exclusions and recurring charges before work begins. The amount depends on the content, integrations, data handling and acceptance work required.

How long does a project take?

The proposal states the delivery schedule, starting condition and dependencies before work begins. Timing depends on content, integrations, reviews and agreed acceptance checks.

Can we agree an NDA and data-handling requirements?

Confidentiality, data access, storage, processing, retention and deletion arrangements are agreed in writing before access is granted. Please do not send confidential files until those arrangements are confirmed.

Where will our information be processed?

We agree where your files are stored and which systems process them before setup. The workspace can use your own hardware, a private server or agreed external services. Any offline workflow is tested without an internet connection before handover.

Compare operating modes →
What do we own at handover?

The proposal identifies the source files, configuration, documents and access you receive. Third-party model and software licences remain applicable. You receive operating instructions and an agreed backup/export route.

What happens after launch?

Handover includes the agreed checks, operating instructions and a walkthrough. Ongoing support, maintenance, update testing and further development are scoped separately.
